Like other singles in the City who blog, Simone writes about her personal dating life – topics such as why she dates online, her recent third date and her worst date ever. She updates her readers on a daily basis, but her dates are in the dark about her blogging ways. "I told one guy once and that didn't go so well," Simone confesses. "My plan is to tell the next guy I'm in a serious relationship with, though." In fact, this isn't uncommon with blog authors, particularly when their virtual space is on such a personal topic.
Simone does a few things differently, which are pretty interesting. She polls her readers on various dating topics, gives her personal take on articles she has read and has a guest GUY blogger each Sunday. "One day one of my male readers suffered a break-up , was upset about it and wanted to share his story," Simone explains. "He probably meant that he wanted to share the story with me, but it sparked the idea. I asked him if he could share his story with my readers and the Sunday feature started."
