The courage to compromise. Being at peace and going inward takes the decision of how you are going to react in every situation. Making the decision to be at peace is not a passive decision. You have the choice or the responsibility to act.
Choosing to go inward and making peace with yourself is a decision many people run away from
Daily preparation for spiritual living is a big commitment. It’s not difficult but if you feel you are living a lifestyle that isn’t conducive to a calm state of mind and is constantly at unrest and runny away from your higher self, then yes it can be a journey to get to that state of mind. Choosing to meditate is something many people avoid by making excuses for not having the time, it is too difficult to sit still and calm my thoughts, or say they are not getting anything from it.
You are a spiritual being and being at One is not always understood
It’s more than an interesting approach to life. Peace where there has been discord can be unusual if you’ve never experienced it in your life. Peace where there has always been stress and strife is quite practical. It is difficult out of fear to leave that chattering state of mind, it is difficult because you fear you may have things in your life you will have to give up or live without that you cling to dearly.
There is an invisible Presence
Right where you are, closer to you than your breathing. This spirit is the Spirit of god or the Christ. The place where you stand is holy ground, so wherever you are, you can have the experience of this Presence within you, the actual feeling, the actual realization. You will not be able to explain it to your friends or family, though many people try. Those who attain the experience of the Christ find it immediately settling and freeing-free from concern. Problems will come and go as you sit in the place with the most high; this is normal and natural until you come to the place of overcoming. (see video)
