Social Sprouts, SLP is a pediatric speech and language therapy practiced founded by speech therapist Carly Seibald and specializing in social skill development in Manhattan and Brooklyn for children ages three to ten years old. Social Sprouts, SLP provides social skill instruction in groups organized based on age, language ability, play skills, and social pragmatic development. Additionally, Social Sprouts, SLP offers facilitated play dates, social support for special events such as birthday parties, social skill building for siblings, as well as individual home or office based speech therapy for children ages birth-10 with a variety of speech and language needs.
Carly Seibald is a Speech-Language Therapist who brings her hands-on ABA and Occupational Therapy experience together with a vast array of other trainings and skills which include: Level II PROMPT(Prompts for Restructuring Oral-Motor Phonetic Targets), Oral-Motor Therapy and extensive trainin in augmentativr and alternative communication (AAC). She has specialized in evaluating and treating children with Autism Spectrum Disorders, Motor-Speech Delays, Developmental Delays, Sensory Integration Disorders and much more. She has worked closely with Occupational and Behavioral therapists to guide and support children across a variety of developmental domains and has years of experience in a multidisciplinary setting. Ms. Seibald has weekend availability, and services children in New York City and Brooklyn.

The Metropolitan Museum of Art
NYC Hosts a monthly “Picture This!” series for visitors with visual impairments, or who are partially sighted. Children ages 5-17 and their families can enjoy works of art using their available senses.
Multisensory Workshops are also offered for children 6-17 and adults who have developmental and learning disabilities that include tactile opportunities and art-making. All free, but registration is required.

The Children’s Museum of the Arts
Offers inclusive classes on Sundays from 1pm-3pm that give children with physical challenges ages 7-15, the opportunity to create art alongside able-bodied peers. Classes are supervised by teaching artists and an occupational therapist.
Stripes provides children with autism and their families an opportunity to create visual art, engage in creative performing experiences, and imaginative play. These opportunities work on social interaction, communication skills, dexterity, and self-expression. This is a free opportunity.
