You know every year you plan on making your holiday cards but every year something comes up and you end up sending out an electronic greeting card instead. Let this year be the year that you get those holiday cards made and sent out.

As of August 14 (the date this article was posted), there are 132 days until Christmas 2012. So even if you want to make 100+ holiday cards you have plenty of time if you begin now! That's just one card a day with plenty of time for addressing the envelopes and actually mailing out those lovingly crafted, hand made cards.

To help get you in the holiday mood, check out the holiday card pictured. This card features Stampin' Up stamps and products. This card style was inspired by the sample in the 2012-2013 Annual Stampin' Up Catalog on page 25. All supplies were from Stampin' Up and include: the Polar Party stamp set, Marina Mist and Shimmer White Card Stock, Staz On Jet Black Ink, Versa Mark Ink, White Stampin' Emoboss Powder, Heat Gun, Big Shot, Adorning Accents Edgelits Dies, Adorning Accents Textured Impressions Embossing Folders, Old Olive, Real Red, Marina Mist Markers.

Stampin' Up supplies can be ordered online or through a local demonstrator. For more information on Stampin' Up read, Stampin' Up as a local resource for paper crafting.

So let the Christmas spirit find you in August and get your cards started.
