BeeWi smart toys unveiled at CES

Unveiled today at the Consumer Electronics Association Show (CES 2013) in Las Vegas, was BeeWi's line of pocket-size RC toys. The toys highlighted included wi-fi controlled four-wheelers that come with cameras and soccer-playing robots (KickBee). All of these toys are controlled by an iOS or Android devices using the BeeWi Control Pad App.

Other toys also unveiled was a smart toy version of the Mini Cooper (S and Coupe) that works wirelessly over Bluetooth. This limits the user to about a 33-feet radius making any office a race track. Also shown were fighting helicopters that can shoot one another or electronic targets. The helicopters are also equipped with cameras so you can view what it sees.

These pocket-sized RC toys bring fun to many environments where traditional RC devices might not work because of size or the need for additional remotes and dongles.

The toys will range in price from $55 to $150.
