The Albuquerque Isotopes scored 19 runs in their first two games in Salt Lake. They could not muster a single run in a 3-0 loss to the Bees on Wednesday night.

Wade LeBlanc (5-1) continued the trend of left-handers who were masterful against Albuquerque (21-25). The southpaw scatted four hits, walked just one and struck out five in eight scoreless innings.

Dane De La Rosa followed with a scoreless ninth to earn his first save of the season for Salt Lake (16-31). He allowed just one hit and had one strikeout.

Red Patterson (2-3) was solid for the Isotopes despite the lack of run support. The right-hander allowed two runs on seven hits, did not walk a batter and struck out six.

Taylor Lindsey hit a solo home run off Patterson in the fourth inning to put the Bees ahead for good. Roberto Lopez added a solo shot in the seventh.

Miguel Rojas went 2-for-4 to lead Albuquerque's lineup. The Isotopes had no extra-base hits in the game.

Albuquerque and Salt Lake will wrap up the series Thursday at 6:35 p.m. The Isotopes will send right-hander Jeff Bennett (0-1, 0.00 ERA) to the mound, while the Bees have not announced a starter.

Notes

Prior to the game, catcher Miguel Olivo was suspended indefinitely by the Isotopes. Olivo fought with teammate Alex Guerrero in Tuesday's 7-4 loss to Salt Lake. The two brawled in the dugout, resulting in Olivo allegedly biting off part of Guerrero's left ear. Guerrero was reported to have emergency plastic surgery and could miss up to five weeks, though he has yet to be placed on the disabled list. ... Third baseman Alex Liddi was added to the roster to replace Olivo. Liddi, a former top prospect with the Seattle Mariners, signed with the Dodgers organization as a free agent after he was released by Charlotte (White Sox) earlier this month.
