Beergate in 2014

When you buy a ticket to a sporting event, one thing that you factor into the price is - how much that ice cold beer is going to cost you. A few years ago the Seattle Seahawks at Qwest Field were busted for a 20oz beer costing a considerable more than a 16oz beer; however, a 16oz beer was found out to actually have 20oz of beer in the glass. When you take a look at the media and monetary hits that Seattle took you would think this would be the last time this ever happened right. I am sorry to say that this is not true at all.

Many people are coming out saying that they are finding out at their local drinking establishments, not just sporting events are finding that the problem still exists. One of these events came to light in the media in Idaho. When the Idaho Steelheads (a minor league hockey team) serving the 16oz beer at 4 dollars and the 20oz beer at 7 dollars were not just caught having the same amount of beer in the cups, but were also caught knowing the 20oz beer glass was just was taller. So the next time you have a beer, are you going to wonder if you are getting your money's worth.
