Beer Snob Bicycle Pub Crawl VII

Want to avoid the crowed bars on St. Patrick’s Day? A day ahead would be perfect, but that is your exercise day. Now there is an option to do both. A pub-crawl by bicycle that stops at beer centric bars on its route.
I found this on www.themiamibikescene.com, the Beer Snob Bicycle Pub Crawl VII on March 16. The first bar along the route is Rio Station (Formally Zeke’s) on Lincoln Road on Miami Beach at 4pm. For riders on the mainland a group will meet 3:30 at the Arsht Center Metro Mover Station to ride over the Venetian Causeway to the Beach. Ride on over from Rio to the Abbey Brewing Company for the second stop at 5pm. Ride back over the Venetian to Gramps in Wynwood at 6pm. At 7:15 the ride will head to the Democratic Republic of Beer and then onto the last stop at the Filling Station at 8:15 in Downtown. The Filling Station is by the Government Center Station for those who need public transportation after the ride.
This is meant to be a social event not a drunk fest. All of the bars will have drink specials and some have food specials for the riders. It is probably best to have a beer per stop so you can complete the whole ride. And since the last stop will be around sunset a light is encouraged to keep the ride safe. A good lock is also a great idea to keep your bike safe as well. Be safe and have fun. Go to www.themiamibikescene.com for complete info and map for all the details.
