Beer skillet pork chops for dinner tonight
In a rush getting the home from work and making sure the kids have a dinner they will eat? This easy, really easy, recipe will bring cheers and ahhs from your family. You can either marinade the chops overnight or even for about 15 minutes before actually cooking them. You will reserve a bit of the marinade to dress the chops while you either grill or cook the chops in a skillet. These pork chops do have a kick but not an overpowering one. It’s flavorful, not just hot for hot’s sake. So give this one a try. A great side dish with this is a rice mixture or a cold potato salad.
4 thick cut pork chops, 1-inch thick
1 12-Oz can beer a darker one if possible
3 tablespoons honey or a sweet BBQ sauce
1 tablespoon hot Habanera pepper sauce
1 ½ cloves garlic, minced
1 tsp basil
Add all ingredients together, separate ½ cup of the finished mixture
Place chops in liquid mixture, either marinade overnight or some time before grilling.
Remove from marinade
Next, heat grill or skillet to about 400 degrees.
Add the chops to the grill, cooking for about 8 minutes each side
Use the separated marinade to coat each chop before removing from the grill
Remove and let rest a minute or two
