The strongest beer in the world contains 67.5% alcohol. "Snake Venom" is made by a Scottish brewery called Brewmeister and comes with a warning label. Just how strong is this beer? Jack Daniels whiskey is "only" 40% alcohol!
In case you're wondering what the beer tastes like -- well it tastes like beer... sort of. The brewers wanted to make it taste like beer but because it's so strong, you can definitely taste the booze. One bottle of "Snake Venom" is equal to drinking 15 shots, which is why there is a warning label on the bottle. The yellow tag around the neck reads: "Warning! This beer is strong. Do not exceed 35 mL in one sitting."
"Snake Venom" isn't for the casual beer drinker. Even those who consume beer regularly might be turned off by the strong taste and the high alcohol content. And so you might be thinking: Why would any one want to drink something like this? The answer is probably similar to the one about why people would want to eat a Twinkie burger... Would you try one of these beers?
