Of all the days of the week, Monday gets the worst rap, perhaps deservedly so. You have to wake up early after two precious days of un-alarmed sleep, you have to face an entire week's worth of your work to-do list before the prospect of a break, and at the end of the day, you know there are still so many days of drudgery before you that you feel as though you've hardly even made a dent in your march towards the weekend.
This coming Monday, May 24th, however, you can turn that all around with a visit to the Coolidge Corner location of Finale desserterie and bakery.
From 6:30-8 that night, the bakery/restaurant will be hosting a beer and dessert pairing event, bringing you five of their famous indulgences (including creme brulee, cheesecake, and "dark chocolate decadence") alongside five of their favorite beers (I, for one, am already drooling at the prospect of local favorite Dogfish Head's Raison D'etre).
