Here is a way to cook a beef roast to a tender state of perfection and you likely have the ingredients on hand! Any of us who use a crock pot know the feeling of coming home after a long day and being greeted with the aroma of dinner already cooked – the crock pot is truly a busy person’s best friend. Beef goes very well in a crock pot because it tenderizes while being cooked for a long period of time at a low temperature. Now take a cup of your morning joe and add it to your crock pot and you will love the results!

Use any type of beef roast for this recipe. In fact, for crock pot cooking, using the cheaper cuts of meat work fine because the process tenderizes it so that even the lesser cuts turn out amazingly.

You can use any type of coffee in this recipe, as well. A flavored coffee would certainly add a varied dimension, but a very strong cup of coffee works wonderfully.
