After seasons of preparation, Beef 'O' Brady's is claiming home court advantage in Lake Jackson on August 29, 2011. The 213-unit franchise of family sports pubs & restaurants best known for great food and the ties it builds with its communities, will serve as Houston’s unrivaled setting where game time meets family time.

“We're the place where families, local sports groups and friends can come together and enjoy great food in a dynamic environment,” said local owner, Jason Chavez. “There’s a strong sense of excitement that’s built into each Beef ‘O’ Brady’s, and the energy at our new restaurant will be unmatched.”

The Lake Jackson Beef `O’ Brady’s, located at 145 Oyster Creek Dr., Suite 2, will feature large screen TVs, complemented by smaller screens for viewing from anywhere in the restaurant. The Lake Jackson location will also be one of the first Beef ‘O’ Brady’s restaurants in the country to offer pizza. The restaurant will have interactive video games for children and a menu offering Buffalo wings, hand-breaded chicken tenders, salads, a variety of sandwiches and burgers and mix-and-match desserts.

In addition to the food and atmosphere, people also take a quick liking to Beef ‘O’ Brady’s because of the franchise’s dedication to community outreach. Since the company’s inception, each Beef ‘O’ Brady’s has been committed to strengthening local ties through philanthropic partnerships and volunteerism.

“We plan to become an integral part of the Lake Jackson community,” said Chavez. “Already, we are creating ties with the community through sponsorships of local sporting organizations and we are eager to expand our involvement. Every Beef’s tells a story about their community, and we are no different.”

The new restaurant was built with Beef ‘O’ Brady’s forward-looking initiatives in mind, which include a newly designed restaurant and a re-engineered menu that offers their famous wings, St. Louis-Style ribs with Sweet Baby Ray’s® barbeque sauce, grilled shrimp available as a main dish or as a salad, a build your own burgers option and affordable mix-and-match dessert combinations.

Ironically, despite what its name implies, Beef `O’ Brady’s is best known for its Buffalo chicken wings. Originally, the chain’s menu featured a variety of items that featured beef and a variety of sandwiches. Later, founder Jim Mellody added his own recipe for Buffalo chicken wings, making the restaurant an even “hotter” place to eat.

The company, headquartered in Tampa, Florida, currently has 213 locations in 21 states in addition to their newest location. Visit the website for more information and come in for some wings August 29.
