Becky's Fund is hosting their 2nd annual Walk This Way fashion show fundraiser. This is quickly becoming one of DC's best and most anticipated fashion shows. This year’s show will feature new items from Eric Finn Custom Clothiers, DC celebrities modeling, and musical performances by Patti Austin and Marcus Johnson. A one-of-a-kind event, guests will enjoy an over-the-pool runway fashion show over DC's largest rooftop pool along with complimentary cocktails and passed hors d'oeuvres throughout the evening. The event will feature a silent auction featuring luxurious items sponsored by companies including ABC, CBS, ESPN, Melissa Lew, O'Neill Studios, and OpenSkies.
Becky's Fund is a Washington, D.C. based non-profit organization whose focus is on raising awareness and preventing domestic violence in the community, through education, and empowerment. Proceeds from Walk This Way will assist in the funding of three "Healthy Relationships" workshops for the Girl Scouts, to be held in 2011, and the creation of a technology program with resources to help victims in need.
