Beaver Creek will host its 8th Annual Beaver Creek Wine & Spirits Festival Aug. 8-10, presented by Wine Spectator Magazine. Signature events with top international and regional wines, spirits and culinary hosts, will return including Manhattans in the Mountains and the Walk-Around Grand Tasting.
New events include Tacos & Tequila Pairing, Premium Port & Cheese Pairing, Hooked on Sushi & Sake and the “Dive In” Deep Eddy Vodka Experience.
For three days, the Beaver Creek Wine & Spirits Festival will offer a wide selection of experiences, beginning with Manhattans in the Mountains on Friday, Aug. 8, sponsored by Maker’s Mark, where you can learn about the history and taste four expressions of the handmade premium Kentucky Bourbon Whiskey.
Friday evening’s special fund-raising dinner at Splendido at the Chateau benefits the Vail Valley’s Bright future Foundation and features a four-course dinner paired with wines. On Sat., Aug. 9, the new Tacos & Tequila event covers signature street taco dishes, Herradura Tequila and cocktails.
Saturday’s schedule continues with two new events in the village, the Premium Port and Cheese Pairing in the By Nature Gallery and Hooked on Sushi & Sake at Hooked restaurant, showcasing tips and techniques for the chef’s dishes while paired with sake. The Walk-Around Grand Tasting on Saturday night celebrates wine, spirits and gourmet cuisine.
On Sunday, Aug. 10, the Four X Fun High Mountain Adventure Tour features a scenic chairlift ride followed by an open-air canopied Jeep tour of the mountain, culminating with wine samplings and a picnic lunch.

Friday, Aug. 8
Manhattans in the Mountains, 3-6 p.m., sponsored by Maker’s Mark at 8100 Private Dining Room, Park Hyatt Beaver Creek Resort & Spa. Tickets: $40 per person.
Wines & Cue Cooking Demo, 5-6:30 p.m., Beaver Creek Kitchen Pavilion. This seminar with Chef Ashton Fichtl from the Beaver Creek Chophouse pairs two summertime favorites: barbecue and wine. Tickets: $25 per person.
Splendido Dinner, 7-10 p.m., sponsored by Trinchero Family Estates, benefiting Bright Future Foundation, at Splendido at the Chateau. This four-course dinner at Splendido is paired with wines prepared by Splendido’s Executive Chef, David Walford. There will be a semi-silent auction to raise funds for the Bright Future Foundation. Tickets: $130 per person.
Saturday, Aug. 9
Tacos & Tequila Pairing, 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m., at The Dusty Boot in Beaver Creek Village. You will be guided through the tasting process, featuring light appetizers, signature street tacos and Herradura Tequila and cocktails. Tickets: $45 per person.
Premium Port & Cheese Pairing, 1:30-3 p.m., sponsored by Premium Port at By Nature Gallery in Beaver Creek Village. Premium Port’s Paul Mugnier and Cheese Peddler, Amy Combs, team up to present samples of unique cheeses paired with port. Tickets: $30 per person.
Hooked on Sushi & Sake, 2-3:30 p.m., at Hooked-Seafood, Sushi, Market in Beaver Creek Village. Learn cooking tips and techniques from Hooked owner and executive chef, Riley Romanin, with sake pairings. Tickets: $50 per person.
The “Dive In” Deep Eddy Vodka Experience, 4-6 p.m., Sponsored by Deep Eddy Vodka at Covered Bridge Antre. Learn what's new, fresh, and fun in the world of cocktails. Tickets: $30 per person.
Walk-Around Grand Tasting, 6:30-9:30 p.m., at Beaver Creek Ice Rink. Fresh food tastings and wines and cocktails are celebrated outdoors on the Beaver Creek Plaza. Tickets: $75 per person.
Sunday, Aug. 10
Four x Fun, 11 a.m. to 2 p.m., sponsored by Canyon Wind and Peach Street Distillers. The weekend culminates with a High Mountain Adventure 4x4 Tour on the mountain in an open-air canopied Jeep, a scenic chairlift ride up Strawberry Park Express Lift and then wine samples and a picnic at Mamie’s Mountain Grill on Beaver Creek mountain. Tickets: $75 per person.
