Many of us have witnessed older women in beauty ads hawking beauty products, and beauty secrets, such as Jennifer Aniston, or Andy McDowell! When looking at these women in these ads, it is extremely apparent (especially with the advent of HDTV) that these advertisers film these makeup commercial with the video contrast and brightness set so high on the women's face, that it looks like you're staring directly into a Super Nova, as the women's features are washed out, as it whiteouts every detail of the older woman's features!
