Beauty looks from the Rebecca Minkoff Fall 2013 show (Photos)

Rebecca Minkoff is back a it again. Her Fall/Winter 2013 collection was as vibrant as last season. Luxurious leathers, bright colors and thick stacked heels made her show a great success. The collection is the modern girl's manifesto. A girl who is forward thinking, but doesn't lose sight of the past. She pushes the envelope while still maintaining her polish. She's a lady with edge, but still elegant. The perfect paradox.

The model's played the part of this paradox girl, with the bouncy, sleek hair which was created by world renowned Tresseme stylist Jeanie Syfu. The hair was inspired by Neil Armstrong going into space. Syfu wanted to make a statement by keeping the hair bold and graphic. All models with short hair was kept short and model's with long hair had extensions added for fullness and then it was cut very bluntly. Hair was kept straight by first using Thermal Creations Volume Mousse to add texture and volume. Then, Keratin Smooth was used with a round brush to blow out ends. She wanted all the girls to look the same, so Syfu flat ironed hair with hair spray so ends would stick straight. Hair was teased lightly at roots and then sprayed with Tresseme's Smooth and Silky No Frizz Shine Spray before the models walked down the catwalk to keep movement.

Nail designs mimicked an "oil slick" by using 5 polish colors. Each color was dropped on each nail and then swirled around. It looks very complicated, but Essie's rep said a model was so intrigued by it that she asked to do it herself and succeeded. The look was intricate, but extremely simple to do. Any color can be used to create the look at home and dries fast as long as you use small polish dots of each color.

Makeup by Stila was exquisite with bright sharp indigo water proof liquid eyeliner on just the top eye lids, fresh clean foundation and berry colored lips.

Minkoff and team created a show that was unstoppable and amazingly futuristic. Check out the photos to get the look.

Makeup was by Stila and nails were by Essie.
