Vincent and Catherine finally admitted their love for each other and shared their first kiss on the last episode, but it wasn't easy. While trying to save Heather from being killed, Vincent accidentally killed Darius, who is Joe's brother. Joe is Catherine's boss at the precinct, so this will cause some problems moving forward.
Joe will start a task force to hunt down the vigilante on the next episode, and that move is teased in the new preview for the series. Catherine appears determined to stay by Vincent's side, but the next episode is being teased as a 'game changer' for the series.
Brian Peterson also shared more about what is coming next in a new interview with TV Line. Fans will see Cat and Vincent's relationship 'change dramatically' in the next few episodes, and Sendhil Ramamurthy will play a big part in the action going forward. He will play an assistant D.A. That will play a huge part in the creation of the task force hunting Vincent down. The character has already been bumped up to regular cast status. Peterson revealed the following about the next episode:
"That’s a big part of the next episode. It is all about trying to track down the one witness who escaped [the crime scene]. It s very much is about Joe trying to hunt Vincent and Vincent trying to exonerate himself, so that he has some kind of a witness to say that he wasn’t completely at fault for what happened."
Peterson also revealed that someone close to Cat will find out she is connected to the beast as well. Fans are buzzing about this series on social media. One fan said the following on Twitter recently:
