"Beauty and the Beast Bash Round II" at The Garage

As the weather around town begins to dip, head over to The Garage this Saturday, as for there it guarantees to be one hot sweaty mess to be made. Local hardcore bands all over Minnesota took part in a contest, as they battled it out to see which band advances to this highly publicized show entitled "Beauty and the Beast Bash Round II". This year the battle winners get to open for some pretty big names. Four Letter Lie is set to headline the show with direct support of local favorites Take Cover.

The last "Beauty and the Beast Bash" was held earlier this year in April. In April it was a two-day extravaganza of local hardcore along with local pop-rock bands. Although this "Beauty and the Beast Bash" is not a two-day event, it does not lack the number of great bands playing. As I mentioned earlier, Minneapolis hardcore giants, Four Letter Lie will be headlining. With so many changes to the band and being within only a few days of their third full studio album being released nationally, Four Letter Lie is a much anticipated act and is not going to disappoint.

Also mentioned earlier, Take Cover will be direct support. Take Cover also has some big news ahead of them. At the end of this month, Take Cover will be hitting the road with the band The Higher and another local favorite, Quietdrive. Many great things will come of this and I am excited for them to join such a great line up of bands to tour with.

Other bands to perform this Saturday include, Emiliana, For All Those Sleeping, No Wings To Speak Of, These Hearts, Sailship, and my good friends All The Right Moves. Along with those bands mentioned, three battle winners will also be opening the show.

So if your looking to warm up this weekend, head on over The Garage this Saturday and heat up to all the explosive energy and music. While you're at it, feel free to sweat it out a bit by pit dancing all through the night.
