LORAC's new Multiplex 3D Eye Shadow Palette is an incredible collection of glam, shimmery shadows that have multidimensional effects. This product, exclusive to Sephora, features six gorgeous shadows all housed in a holographic snakeskin palette with a mirror inside and a magnetic closure to keep the shadows protected.
Three of the shadows are metallic--gold, silver, and a warm, coppery color. Gold shadows are very in this spring. This one works well as a highlighter if you apply it lightly and it has the slightest pink overtone to it, which helps to warm up the skin tone of pale-skinned ladies. The silver shadow, shimmery with tiny flecks of silver sparkle, can work well as a highlighter too if it's blended well and if you apply it lightly, or it can be a stunning pop of metallic color. The coppery shadow is also slightly sparkly, and while it may look best on those who have nice tans, it also helps to warm up the skin tones of those of us who are pale-skinned.
Then there's a beautiful blue shadow that's infused with silver sparkle. This one looks intense in the palette, but don't worry--you're not going to look like Mimi from The Drew Carey Show if you wear it. This color isn't too bold for pale skin tones and will pop nicely on darker skin tones. It goes on lighter than you'd expect, and that's a good thing. The black infused with tiny holographic sparkles is also a fun choice. It's the most sparkly shadow of the palette, and it can double as a great sparkly, smoky eye liner, too.
The most gorgeous shadow in the palette is a brown with green overtones. That description makes the color sound so ordinary...trust me, it's anything but ordinary! Depending on what sort of light you're in, this shadow can appear to be many different colors. It's the most multidimensional one of the bunch, and also the most unique color (or should I say colors, plural?). You can use this shadow for daytime looks, especially if it's well-blended, or use more layers of this shadow for an intensely multidimensional evening look.
All the shadows in this palette are soft, smooth, and easily blendable with your fingers or an eyeshadow brush. All the colors are buildable for a light amount of luster or a more intense look. This palette offers a collection of super-versatile shadows that will help you achieve ultra-glam looks for day or evening.
