High pressure will maintain control of the weather across northeastern Ohio for most of this week. Temperatures will gradually moderate as time progresses.
We will see some patchy fog this morning and some frost across the eastern areas, then generally sunny skies can be expected. Highs this afternoon will climb to the mid 60s.
Tonight will be mostly clear and chilly with lows ranging from the upper 30s in the normally colder spots to the mid 40s near the lake shore.
Wednesday will be mostly sunny with highs around 70 degrees.
Wednesday night will be clear and cool with lows in the 40s.
Thursday will be mostly sunny with highs in the low 70s.
Thursday night will be mostly clear with lows in the 40s.
Friday will be partly to mostly sunny with high temperatures climbing into the low to mid 70s.
The high pressure system over the area will gradually shift eastward over the upcoming weekend. A somewhat milder southwesterly flow will help to boost temperatures into the mid to upper 70s both Saturday and Sunday. Skies are expected to be partly sunny both days as well.
