No time - that is the reason that a stunning dog named "Bella," is currently on death row.
Bella's owners surrendered her to the Manhattan, N.Y. Animal Care and Control Center because they had "no time" for her anymore.
Now, Bella has no time - tomorrow, Feb. 22, is the day that she is scheduled to be destroyed.
Bella, the elegant, friendly, well-behaved dog will cease to exist thanks to owners who gave up their end of the dog ownership deal by turning her over to a high kill animal control facility.
A volunteer who recently met Bella shared the following glowing report:
Elegant Bella was relinquished into our care as her owners had no time for a pet anymore. She had babies not that long ago but has almost regained her damsel trim figure.
She is a shy lady, breathtakingly beautiful who wears a coat as white as milk and owns soulful pale greenish-yellowish eyes. Bella walks quietly on the leash and relieves herself in the street. She keeps a clean den.
She meets other dogs in a very civil and proper way. She sits and stays on command and is very accommodating for the pictures session. Bella might be timid but she shows her feelings and comes on the lap to receive kisses and hugs.
She is such a sweet girl. Bella, what a beautiful and so appropriate name for this beautiful dog. She is a regal for the eyes, a pleasure and a blessing to be with. A moment of piece in a hectic day... She is a dream to have as a pet, a forever companion to soothe our life and embellish our days.
Bella, ID# A0957375, is just two years of age, but tomorrow, she will likely die, even though she has done absolutely nothing wrong.
She is fearful at the facility because she knows...her instincts tell her that she is not in a safe place and that something is terribly, dreadfully, wrong.
Please take a moment to network Bella before she is gone forever.
