This sweet dog, abandoned by her owner at an upstate veterinary clinic, is in need of a forever home.

Pretty Baby, located in Simpsonville, SC, needs a forever home
Elisa Black-Taylor

Pretty Baby is a 1-year-old pit bull who has brought into Cleveland Park E. Animal Hospital in Simpsonville under the premise of having her spayed. Her owners didn't mention that Pretty Baby was pregnant at the time, and things took a turn for the worst once the operation was performed.

Unfortunately, when Pretty Baby's family was called to come pick her up, the clinic learned a fake phone number and names had been provided. This left the clinic with a homeless dog.

Pretty Baby needs to find a forever home, or she may end up in a shelter. She weighs around 50 pounds, and I've been told she plays well with other dogs her size or larger. Laura White, who is working hard to find Pretty Baby a home, doesn't advise adopting her into a family who has small dogs or cats. Pretty Baby likes to play rough, and could injure a smaller pet.

Please share Pretty Baby with friends, as well as rescues, in upstate South Carolina. She'd make a great only dog, or a companion dog to a large breed. If Pretty Baby is the dog for you, contact the clinic at (864)963-8025 and ask for Laura White.
