Get a drink or two with dinner at Coppervine, as it is part of the experience at this pairing-focused restaurant in Lincoln Park. Each item on Coppervine's menu is elegantly paired with a drink of your choice, whether it be wine, beer or a cocktail. And given this pairing technique, you can taste a few of each for a really great price.
The food is comforting and delicious, from creamy lobster mac and cheese, to light salads, and one amazing lobster blt. We sampled a lot of menu items, and overall the table was very happy. But what made this experience best was the amazing drink pairings and options for everyone.
For the whiskey drinker, Coppervine has an amazing Brown Butter Old Fashioned, and the most delicious Alibi (made with Bulleit Bourbon, Charles de Fere Sparkling Wine, Pamplemousse, Simple Syrup, and Lemon).
For the wino, Coppervine has an extensive menu, including a delicious Albarino from California, a Gruner Veltliner from Austria, an Argentian Malbec, and of course a California Pinot Noir. One of the favorites of the table was a sparkling Brut Rose Cava from Spain.
If beer is more your speed, try the classic Allagash White or the Solitude Abbey Ale!
A trip to Coppervine is one for the true pairing connoisseur, and one you will not soon forget!
