There are few vampire movies I’m excited about this year. I will admit the the comedy Vamp U that is out on DVD this month happens to be one of them. More of a traditional vampire tale comes the mother and daughter tale Byzantium. If you read my work on my other site you will know that I spoke of this film when it was first underproduction now i’m happy to bring you a new international trailer. This has been available for a few days now but as most of my readers of are the mainstream audience I thought I would bring it to you. I was already curious and excited to see Byzantium and the trailer ups the anticipation even more.
“Two mysterious women seek refuge in a run-down coastal resort. Clara meets lonely Noel, who provides shelter in his deserted guesthouse, Byzantium. Schoolgirl Eleanor befriends Frank and tells him their lethal secret. They were born 200 years ago and survive on human blood. As knowledge of their secret spreads, their past catches up on them with deathly consequence. “
Look out for more details on the release from IFC later this year. Until then get ready for the return of real vampires!
