From the moment one enters the property one can truly see why Mount Airy Resort and Casino has received the coveted AAA four diamond rating every year since 2010. The destination spot has been personally designed by the owners, the DeNaples family, to invite, entertain, relax and have fun in. The casino is only a small part of the resort to enjoy. The hotel, spa, pool, restaurants, entertainment and award winning golf course all make Mount Airy a true destination resort for everyone to enjoy.
Beauty surrounds one whether entering the hotel doors or the casino entrance.
Enter the resort's hotel side and one is instantly greeted by a beautiful extraordinary grand chandelier glittering down upon a lovely entry table. There are comfy spaces in the large lobby to sit and relax after your drive and the reception desk is right there waiting to welcome you.
The welcoming décor, lovingly designed by Mrs. DeNaples and her daughter, is a mix of beautiful stacked stone walls, warm wood and well appointed granite with a centerpiece of a waterfall among a display of rocks and blooming beauty flanked by grand contemporary staircases leading up to the casino floor.
Descending down from the casino floor to the hotel lobby, hanging above the staircases, are groupings of beautiful paintings depicting picturesque views of the Delaware Water Gap. The artwork was specifically commissioned for the resort by the owners showcasing how the entire resort’s décor is a work of devotion.
The casino entrance invites fun with contemporary chandeliers shining down as one climbs upwards on the escalator.
Guest rooms are beautifully designed waiting to please and relax in.
Many room’s full wall of windows overlook the lovely picturesque lake and golf course. The decor includes a beautiful upholstered headboard in a soft blue textured fabric. Soft neutral colors offer the relaxation sought when one goes off on vacation.
Much thought went into the room lighting. Unlike other hotels that never seem to have enough, the Mount Airy rooms have wonderful lighting choices to make the room as bright as possible or dim with soft lighting to provide relaxation and romance. Three-way switches are provided by the bed to turn lighting off before drifting off to dreamland.
The beautifully designed bathrooms are well planned. A separate water closet with its own door for extra privacy makes it easy to share the bathroom. Extra design touches include a granite vanity, lighted make-up mirror and an extra large stall shower with a rainfall showerhead plus an extra adjustable hand held shower head.
The personal Keurig coffee machine and Sony Dream Machine are wonderful room extras. Free Wi-Fi is provided throughout the hotel and guest accommodations that makes checking email a breeze.
The casino floor is well designed in beauty and easy maneuverability.
The main casino floor is a complete circle, easy to literally get around, designed in the hotels' colors of rusts, purples and gold with a shot of red. The Glass Bar serves as the casino floor's centerpiece. There are areas for both smokers and non-smokers. Easily discovered around the circle’s perimeter are the restaurant and snack venues with choices of elegant fare to a quick snack of frozen yogurt, as well as the Gypsies Lounge and Nightclub.
The spa is beautiful in its welcoming and relaxing decor.
Walk through the quiet spa shop and descend one level down to be greet by a beautiful round sculptural garden in the center of a pleasant circular reception area. Sign in and your host brings you into the beautifully appointed spa.
Rainfall showers wait to soak the tension out of one's body. The locker room has wonderful personal changing areas for extra comfort when swapping clothes for the provided soft comfy robe and slippers. Colors are relaxing creams, browns, taupe and sea blues with greenery displayed. The colors of nature promote relaxation even before one gets their chosen treatment. Take a seat in the sauna or steam room to relax. Then enter into the quiet lounge to sink into one of the many soft chaise lounges separated by a soft sheer of drapery.
The treatment room is beautiful in its décor with a wall of backlit soft sheer drapery and a stunning large round recessed glass fixture in hues of blues and purples that when lit reminds one of a sunset and when turned off appears like a serene night sky as one looks upward laying down on the plush heated treatment table.
The spacious and lovely "Get Wet" indoor/ outdoor pool is open all year.

Private luxury cabanas outside are lovely in colors of soft grays and blue ready to welcome to be reserved for a party. The private enclosed day beds indoors are a beautiful chartreuse green with blue decorative pillows surrounded by a draped structure to allow for the ultimate poolside experience. The 5,600 square-foot outdoor deck areas are very welcome in the daytime hours to catch some rays and at nighttime to enjoy some romance. Built in table fire pits provide warmth to the decor. Adding to the beautiful furnishings is the lovely view in the background of the resort’s beautiful lake and golf course.
During summer weekends "Get Wet" turns into a nighttime venue with new exciting furnishings ready to host partying fun from 10 pm until 2 am on Friday and Saturday nights. The pool’s daytime lounge chairs are replaced with wonderful architectural blocks, scattered around the pool and outside, putting on a light show of changing LED colored lights.
