This is a plea for help in saving the life of a young cat.

The cat in these photos has been seen around Haywood Mall, located in Greenville, South Carolina. A group of animal advocates are attempting to rescue this kitty.

He's an unaltered male, who is brave enough to approach the doors of the mall, but not comfortable enough to accept food and being placed in a carrier.

Right now plans are underway to trap the cat before animal control is called in. The problem is, once this cat is caught, there's nowhere to take him.

The ideal scenario would be to catch the little guy, take him to a foster home, and set up a vetting donation webpage to cover his vaccines/tests/neutering.

If you can offer this kitty a foster home, or even a permanent home, please contact Meg Elizabeth Harris at 864-760-3091, email ClemsonMegs@gmail.com. Meg works from 8a.m. until 4 p.m., so please leave a message if you get her voicemail.

This person will need to be reachable when the time comes to transfer the kitty from a humane trap to a volunteer willing to care for him.

Please share this article with friends in the Greenville, South Carolina area, with the hope an emergency caregiver can be found.
