On Monday evening, a slideshow of several dogs who had been killed at the Baldwin Park, Calif., animal control facility, was published.
Most of the dogs who were killed on Oct. 14 had been taken in at the facility just seven days before they were put down. Today, another life hangs in the balance at the same facility.
This dog, like the others, has an easily visible sadness in his eyes.
The two-year-old poodle/terrier mix looks as if he has given up hope.
Though young, he looks wise beyond his years and he seems to possess the same knowledge that so many sheltered dogs do...the knowledge that his life is in danger, and that there is no one who is coming to his aid.
Though this dog is young, and highly adoptable, he is in grave danger as evidenced by those who were featured in the "Gone" editorial.
Please take a moment to offer him a glimmer of hope.
