An amazing little girl is being unmercifully bullied on line that includes anonymous death threats. The on line bullying the little six year-old has been subjected to vicious, heinous and utterly venomous comments.
Adalia Rose Williams was born with a rare premature aging condition called Progeria. The condition causes her body to age several times faster than usual.
Adalia has tried very hard to not let her condition to hold her back from anything. Being extremely proud of her daughter, Adalia’s mom set up a Facebook page for her daughter. On her Facebook page, Adalia had pictures and video of her dancing Gangnam Style and Vanilla Ice.
When Adalia leaves her home, she has to deal with curious stares and “spiteful comments” from strangers. However, the brave little girl wakes up determined every day to not let the nastiest get in the way of her living her life to the fullest.
As a result of Adalia’s condition, she only weights 14 pounds and may not live past her 13th birthday. She lives in Round Rock, Texas which is 15 miles from Austin.
Adalia sometimes receives strange looks from other kids. Her mother, Natalia Amozurrutia, 24 and step father Ryan Pallante tell her that she gets the strange looks because “they have never seen an angel.”
Amozurrutia only set up Adalia’s Facebook page because she wanted her to be able to keep in touch with her friends and family. To her surprise, the page has almost six million fans.
In addition to all of the love and support Adalia receives from her fans, she also is exposed to some of the most vile and cruel comments. One comment read, “Kill it before it lays eggs.”
Another comment read, “This is the reason abortion should be legal.” As if the comments weren’t bad enough several Facebook groups were started by evil and vicious people for the sole purpose of taunting Adalia.
A few of the group names are: “Adalia Rose is a veiny testicle head”, and “Adalia Rose should have been aborted.”
A few of the nastier comments are heartbreaking to read.
- “I can’t take Adalia Rose seriously, she looks like dobby the house elf”
- “Whats the difference between Adalia and a watermelon, one is fun to hit with a sledge hammer and ones a watermelon”
- “If Adalia Rose is beautiful then my ball sack must be a model”
One of the bullies who targeted Adalia is Carl Sherburne. He wrote, “I don’t want to say it like this, but this is the only way it’s going to sink in: Whenever you’re putting pictures of your child and letting her dress up, and putting videos of her dancing, you’re presenting your child with Progeria like it’s a freak show.”
One of Adalia’s friends, Edith Henry stated that she also received comments that said, “I’m going to find where you live. I’m gonna come to your house, I’m gonna chop you up, and rape your mother in front of you and cut off your arms.”
Last year, Natalia told the world just how proud she was of her daughter Adalia. On her website, Natalia wrote, “Adalia Rose Williams is an extremely beautiful child. She loves to sing, dance, color, play dress up and makeup.”
“Her energy level is over the top and many times we find ourselves amazed of all the things she does with determination. She speaks her mind and is very observant of her surroundings.”
“Adalia has a heart bigger than Texas. She shows love and compassion and expresses herself with kind words towards those who love her and share good times and make good memories with her.”
“She has a spirit out of this world, like no other and so unique. Her beauty inside and out brightens her surroundings.”
“Talking and laughing with this little ANGEL is the most amazing experience one can have. Words…..there are endless words to describe how a small 5 year old, named Adalia Rose has affected the lives of her loving parents, adoring brother, all her family and very close friends.”
“Yes she is the LOVE of our lives the AIR that we breathe and the HEART that constantly beats within us.”
