For nearly a month, a gorgeous dog dubbed "Happy," has called a kennel run at the Chicago, Ill., Animal Care and Control facility "home."
Amazingly, despite the number of days that this beautiful girl has been locked away, she still appears to have a smile on her face. Happy arrived to the facility back on May 20 after being picked up as a stray...since that time, an owner has not come forward to claim Happy as their own.
Happy is one of the many dogs who is featured on the CACC Transfer Team Facebook page - dogs on this page are "rescue only." The following was said about Happy:
Fabulous goofy lab mix who does great in our playgroup.
A bit of Happy's zest for life can be glimpsed in this short video clip taken of her at a dog playgroup.
Please take a moment to network on Happy's behalf - she is in need of help.
