This sweet foster girl is missing, and the family in charge of her care is anxious to bring her home.

Fern, a black lab mix, was picked up as a foster on May 13. You can follow her thread here.

After going missing, Fern was spotted May 20 on Fairview Road headed toward Highway 418 in the Simpsonville, South Carolina area. The girl who saw Fern recognized the dog, and called out to her.

Fern is extremely afraid of people, and immediately retreated to the woods. She has led a hard life, and has the scars to prove it. Fern was last seen on Neely Ferry Road near Glenn Meadows.

Flyers have been put out, and people are urged to share her on Facebook. Please share this article as well, especially with those in the Fountain Inn/Simpsonville area. Contact Stephanie Boone Lasssiter via Facebook if found.
