Meet Melanie, who is now in foster care through Jazzy Pit Bulls Kennel and Rescue in Greenville, South Carolina.
Melanie is a 4 year old Feist-American Staffordshire Terrier mix who weighs about 40lb. She is a very sweet, loving little girl who has been staying with her foster family while she completed her treatment for heartworms, which went very well for her.
This should not have any permanent affects to her health. She is now ready for her new home and new family!
Melanie is a little timid at first, but it doesn't take her long to warm up and let her sweet personality shine through. She is good with kids. She is also great with the two cats in the home. Her foster family have had a few issues with their other female dogs, so she would be best as an only dog.
Melanie isn't aggressive, but she will not back off when another dogs starts something with her. She enjoys playing from time to time, and she enjoys a good romp around the backyard. Overall a pretty laid back dog and is not a dog that will require a lot of exercise.
This girl is completely house trained and crate trained. Melanie is a sweet baby and will make a wonderful addition to any family. Please contact Bryan.firstname.lastname@example.org, or contact through Jazzy Pit Bulls Kennel and Rescue if you would like to meet sweet Melanie.
Please share Melanie, especially with friends in the Greenville, South Carolina area. Also keep in mind transport services may be arranged, should you live outside the Greenville area.
