Woody Lifton’s first Beatles Tribute Cruise began on March 28, and for a week, guests were treated to entertainment and visits with some great Beatles stars and artists, where a “splendid time was guaranteed for all.” The cruise ship, “Independence of the Seas” departed from Ft. Lauderdale and travelled to Belize, Costa Maya and Cozumel, Mexico.

Guests included the famed Beatles artist Shannon, May Pang, Nancy Lee Andrews, Joe Johnson, Jorie Gracen and Paul Saltzman. The band, Brit Beat, entertained guests during the cruise.

Highlights included: Shannon’s unveiling of eight original works of art for the Hard Days Night Hotel in Liverpool; special q&a sessions with May Pang, John Lennon’s girlfriend and author of “Instamatic Karma”, Nancy Lee Andrews, Ringo Starr’s ex, author of “A Dose of Rock and Roll”; Paul Saltzman, who took pictures of the Beatles in Rishikesh in 1968, author of “The Beatles in India”; Jorie Gracen, photographer and author of “I Saw Him Standing There”, a book of photos of Paul McCartney that she took over a period of twenty years; and Joe Johnson, the creator and host of the nationally syndicated radio show BeatleBrunch.

(See You Tube video featuring photos from the cruise below. The unveiling of Shannon's new art pieces are shown. Wait till you see them, they are incredible!)

Woody also features a Beatles History site, and had a radio show for several weeks about the Beatles.
