The Bayonets, composed of Paul McCartney guitarist Brian Ray, Lucrecia López Sanz of Argentina's Nube 9 and Oliver Leiber, son of famed songwriter Jerry Leiber of the Leiber and Stoller duo, announced the release of their new single, “Crash, Boom, Bang!” June 16. The song, available on iTunes, “Crash Boom Bang!” was mixed by Joe Zook (Katy Perry, One Republic, Pink, Faith Hill and others).
The video, which you can see on this page, was directed by Linda Cevallos-French & Brian French. The song is a real kick and the video is funny, sexy and it rocks with a vengeance. The album, also called “Crash, Boom, Bang!,” will be released this summer by Robo Records.

Fab Four Fair: The San Diego County Fair, which runs through July 6 at the Del Mar Fairgrounds on Jimmy Durante Boulevard in Del Mar, is featuring a Fab Fair area with Beatles exhibits, Beatles-related concerts and a contest for a trip to Liverpool. Vincent Vigil, whose collection of Fab Four photos are among those featured at the fair, sent us some pictures of the exhibit which you can see in the slide show. Looks like a great place to visit if you're in the area.
