The Beatles made a small showing in the April 5 Billboard charts, which were made public March 28. On the Catalog chart, the “1” album was at #9, down from #6 in the previous issue. And “Abbey Road” was at #50, down from #43.

Ringo hanging out: Ringo Starr has been photographed with several musicians lately, the most recent being Van Dyke Parks. Add Nathan East to the list. (See the picture on this page.) “With Mr. Bass man himself Nathan East thank you Nathan great great great R**.” If all these guys show up on his next album, it's going to be a heckuva disc.

Mark Rivera and friends: Some friends dropped by Mark Rivera's show at the Cutting Room Thursday. He tweeted out a photograph of himself with Steve Conte and Jimmy Ripp. Just a reminder that Mark's “Common Bond” CD is fantastic. Here's our review if you missed it.

McCartney tour CD: Paul McCartney is releasing a special tour edition of his "NEW" album for Japan with a bonus DVD. The details are here. And you can order it here.

Map of the stars: The British Beatles Fan Club has added an interactive map of London with Beatles related locations pinned to their website. If you click on a pin, an information box will pop up and give you more details about the significance of the site. The club says more pins will be added weekly.

LENNONYC stream: For a limited time, PBS is streaming the full “LENNONYC” film online for free. It can be found here.
