Beatles fans this is big news, according to Variety on Aug. 7, Hulu will be streaming the Beatles' popular classic movie "A Hard Day's Night." This is through their subscription service, so you must have Hulu Plus in order to stream the movie. You can start to stream the movie starting on Friday, Aug. 8.
Hulu has the rights to stream the movie because of its licensing agreement with the Criterion Collection. Hulu Plus users have the chance to watch over 800 criterion movies just for $7.99 month. Of course that's not all that Hulu Plus subscribers can watch, but that's just one of the many perks. Criterion fans especially enjoy that perk.
Criterion recently resorted the 4K resolution from the original camera negative and the new restoration was approved by even the director, Richard Lester. The movie last month was released theatrically in 50 U.S. cities. The soundtrack was remixed and remastered by producer Giles Martin at Abbey Road Studios.
"A Hard Day's Night" starred the Beatles: John Lennon, Paul McCartney, George Harrison, Ringo Starr, and it also starred Norman Rossington, Anna Quayle, and Deryck Guyler. The screenplay had been written by Alun Owen.
"A Hard Day's Night" was first released in 1964, so this year the movie celebrates its 50th anniversary. The film was both financially and critically acclaimed upon its release, which is no surprise because of how popular the Beatles were and still are. The movie itself at the moment has a 99% on Rotten Tomatoes, which not many movies can boast that.
So once again if you are a Beatles fan, and love this movie you can now stream it on Hulu through their subscription service. The price of this service is only $7.99 a month. Indeed it is big news for Beatles fans!
