Beatle's widow to discuss and sign copies of George Harrison book Friday

Olivia Harrison, widow of Beatle George Harrison, will talk about the book "George Harrison: Living in a Material World" in a special appearance at 7 p.m. Friday at Barnes & Noble, 2289 Broadway (at 82nd Street), New York City.

Musician Warren Zanes, who wrote the liner notes for the 2010 George Harrison compilation "Let It Roll: Songs By George Harrison," will conduct the Q&A with Mrs. Harrison, who will also sign copies of the book. (See our interview with Zanes about the "Let It Roll" CD.)

The massive book features photos taken by Harrison himself dating back to the early '60s and is filled with reminiscences from Harrison's friends, including Beatles Paul McCartney and Ringo Starr, Eric Clapton, Terry Gilliam and Eric Idle. (You can read our full review of the book here.)
