GOING UP?: The New York Post reports a Korean tourist who snuck into the Dakota building where Yoko Ono lives was arrested after Ono saw the man in the elevator. Ono is fine, but the incident certainly must have residents, some of them celebrities, questioning the security in what is supposed to be a very private building.
REMEMBERING BILLY PRESTON: NPR has a small tribute to the great Billy Preston. We saw "The Concert for Bangladesh" at an advance screening in San Francisco. Who got the biggest applause from the audience, which included some celebrities? Billy Preston. We also remember him as a highlight of Beatlefest. Great talent and very much missed today.
ENTREE VIEW?: Linda McCartney Foods is conducting a contest to get a homemade entree as part of its frozen foods line. The winner gets their creation and picture on a new product, plus a new Baumtic cooker and a hand-made kitchen table by Tichmarch & Goodwin. Rules are on the Linda McCartney website. Given that the line isn't distributed in the U.S., we suspect that only entries from the UK are valid, but the website makes no exception.
