PRESS REPORTS LINING UP: After our article as the iTunes story started to break, it was interesting to see tone of the the press reports. MEAT-FREE COMPETITION: Linda McCartney Foods in the UK is holding a contest for the best meat-free entree. The winning choice will become a product in the McCartney frozen food line. For details, see here. This page about the contest has a video with Paul McCartney. We didn't see that the entrants are limited to the UK, though we're guessing they might be.
STRANGE TITLE: A future book listed on Amazon has the title "Lennon and McCartney Piano Songs for Dummies."
A TOUR FOR GEORGE: The Magical History Tour in Los Angeles, which features a tour of Beatle-related sites in the area, is featuring a special tour Nov. 27-28 in honor of George Harrison. PETER BLAKE'S HEARTS CLUB BAND: Sir Peter Blake drew on his work on the cover of "Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band" for the photo at left during a ceremony to mark the completion of building works and the launch of the Holburne Challenge at the Holburne Museum in Bath, England.
