Beatle news briefs: McCartney guitarist's Halloween treat; 'Revolution' on iPads

TREAT OR TRICK: Brian Ray, who plays guitar in Paul McCartney's band, had an interesting experience on Halloween. He was dressed up as "a man of the cloth," as he described it. He happened to run into a boy dressed as someone he knows very well. (See picture.) The picture was taken at Scott Shriner and Jillian Lauren's Halloween party, he told us. "Scott is the great bass & vocals of Weezer." No word on the boy's identity, but whoever decided on the costume had a great idea.

A DIFFERENT "REVOLUTION": Yoko Ono was a part of a tribute to Apple's Steve Jobs on last night's O Music Awards. Ono introduced the Flaming Lips performing "John Lennon's 'Revolution.'". "Like, John Lennon the man I loved deeply, Steve Jobs was a dreamer who changed the world," Ono said. "By putting the power of communication in the hands of the people all over the world, he helped to bring us closer to a world of true wisdom and peace we yearned for." You can see a clip of them performing the song (not the same one as in the show) at left.  You can see the full show at this link.Yoko comes on about 30 minutes in.
