There is a rumor that has gone around for years that for the Wings 76 tour cover story on Rolling Stone, that Linda purposely put her back to the camera for that session (which made the cover of the Rolling Stone) because of the Fong-Torres iterview.

Fong-Torres also notoriously raked George Harrison's 1974 tour over the coals too; it seems as if he was gunning for George, however in later years denies that he was.

As for Linda, question was asked...and answered!

Great answer from Linda! And what a tacky and rude way to phrase a question. I didn't know that Fong-Torres was still on the earth, still bottom-feeding. I believe that he and his ilk decide beforehand how their stories will slant, and if the facts don't coincide with that - out with the facts. Sucking the joy from something as subjective as music and using that to line their own pockets and to boost their own ego and visibility requires a special kind of megalomaniac leech. Long ago I stopped buying books and magazines that have great photos, but do a hatchet job on the very musicians that sell their "product".
George Harrison, Wings; their music will be listened to and enjoyed for years. Hatchet journalists *still* trying to get attention by milking their non-accomplishments 35 years later? That should tell us something about *their* shelf life. So to all you useless hatchet journalists, F**K OFF!
