The building that once housed the Beatles Apple Corps Ltd. at 3 Savile Row has been recommended by a planning council to become an Abercrombie and Fitch children's clothing store, Bloomberg reported Wednesday.
Beatles Examiner first reported the store was to open back in September, 2011. The Westminster borough council will vote on the proposal next week. A spokesman for the store didn't deny the report then or now, but still won't give a possible opening date. Bloomberg says the planned store has not gotten support from local shopowners, which prefer to keep the area full of men's tailoring stores.

"Recording at Abbey Road was emotional: My first time recording there, my first time hearing something we composed for an orchestra of that size and my first major Hollywood film soundtrack." The recording session featured guests including Tony Hicks of the Hollies, father of member Paul Hicks, and Ben Harper.
