"The Early Beatles Collection," at the Leica Gallery Sept. 7 to Oct. 19, will feature images Kirchherr took during the filming of "A Hard Day's Night" in 1964 for Stern Magazine, as well as some of the images she took of the musicians during their Hamburg, Germany, period in 1960.
Many of the pictures, the gallery told the Times, were taken with the Leica camera the gallery is named for. The gallery is located at 8783 Beverly Blvd. in West Hollywood.
“BEATLES REIMAGINED”: Ten bands will cover a group of early Beatles songs in a new album to come Oct. 1 on Community Records. “Beatles Reimagined” will feature “All My Loving” by The Well Pennies, From Me To You by Mobley, “Misery” by Feverbody, “I Saw Her Standing There” by Edward Sharpe and the Magnetic Zeros, “I Wanna Be Your Man” by Night Panther, “I Feel Fine” by Jhameel, “There’s A Place” by Leftover Cuties, “She Loves You” by Badwolf, “Please Please Me” by Adventure Galley and “ And I Love Her” by Doom & Gloom. The company says a percentage of the profits will benefit charities involved in music and youth. According to the New York Times, the project is an attempt to bring the Beatles music to younger people.

They are “You've Got to Hide Your Love Away” with Artie and Kitty, “Got to Get You Into My Life” with Kurt and Blaine, “Help!” by Sam and Blaine, “Yesterday” by Rachel Berry, “All You Need Is Love” by Blaine Anderson, “A Hard Day's Night” by Rachel and Santana, “I Saw Her Standing There” by Blaine, Sam, Ryder and Jake, “Drive My Car” by Artie, Kitty, Blaine, Ryder, Sam and Jake.
SGT. PEPPER'S CLONELY HEARTS CLUB BAND?: From the News of the very Weird department, the dentist who bought John Lennon's tooth has allowed scientists to see if they can clone him, according to UPI. “I am nervous and excited at the possibility that we will be able to fully sequence John Lennon's DNA, very soon I hope. With researchers working on ways to clone mammoths, the same technology certainly could make human cloning a reality," Zuk said in a statement. In 2011, Zuk told us in an exclusive interview he planned to display the tooth in dental schools.
