Beat the Winter Blues garden event at the Edgerton Hospital Healing Garden

On February 27, 2014, from 12 p.m. to 1:30 p.m. there will be a special event for gardeners at the Edgerton Hospital Healing Garden. It is titled Beat the Winter Blues which definitely apt at this time of year.

Featured are two speakers, Roy Klehm of Klehm's Song Sparrow Farm and Nancy Nedveck of the Flower Factory. Roy will be speaking about Plants in my Garden while Nancy will discuss perennials.

You can bring your own lunch to enjoy or purchase lunch at the Edgerton Hospital Cafe.

In case of blizzard, it will be rescheduled for the following day.

The healing garden was put in place to reduce stress, offer wellness activities such as yoga, Tai Chi and community events and also to help people feel at ease.There are also hiking trails and a community garden on the property.
