Beast’s Castle is divided into three seating areas. Upon entering guests visit the grand two story ballroom. The centerpiece for this room is a rotating statue of Belle and Beast dancing. The windows to the rear allow guests to view snow falling outside the castle.

Guests taking a turn to their left will enter the mysterious West Wing. The lights are dimmed and evidence that Beast has been there recently is everywhere. A ripped photo of the Prince is on the wall and curtains also show that they have been shredded by Beast’s claws. Next to the fireplace sits a table with the magic rose covered by a glass lid. If you watch closely, you might even see the rose shed a petal during your meal.

To the right of the grand ballroom is Belle’s library. This room is brightly lit and the walls are covered in tapestries that tell the story of Beauty and the Beast.

This restaurant serves French inspired selections. The lunch menu includes sandwiches such as the Croque Monsieur while dinner includes menu items such as Layered Ratatouille and Braised Pork. Desserts include delectable cupcakes including the Triple Chocolate Cupcake and the Lemon Meringue Cupcake. Guests celebrating a birthday or anniversary at dinner may also be served the Grey Stuff for dessert.

For lunch this restaurant is a quick service restaurant, which allows guest to order food via a touch screen computer, select their seats and then wait for their food. Their food is delivered to the table via a cast member pushing an ornate wheeled domed tray that keeps the food hot on real dishes with silverware. Guests can help themselves to drinks via the soda dispensers. Condiment and silverware carts are also ornate carts that are carved of wood. During lunch guests can select their own seats in any of the three dining room areas.

For dinner this restaurant turns into a table service restaurant. Guests are encouraged to make reservations 180 days prior to their visit. Guests are seated by a cast member at a pre-selected table and cannot choose which dining room they would like to dine in. At the end of the meal as guest exit the restaurant from their dinner meal, Beast is present to tell them good-bye.

Wichitans traveling to Walt Disney World over Valentine’s Day weekend should be sure to enjoy a meal in Beast’s castle and see what other treasures they can discover.
