Bears vs. Eagles 2013 NFL live stream & TV start time schedule

The 2013 NFL live stream online and televised game for Sunday Night Football will feature two playoff hopeful teams looking to move closer to a postseason berth. It will be the Chicago Bears vs. Philadelphia Eagles, with Philly looking to bounce back from a horrible loss last week to Minnesota, while Chicago looks to win another behind Jay Cutler. The latest TV and live stream NFL game on the schedule will be presented through the NBC sports networks.

A report from Chicago Now on Dec. 21 notes that tonight’s game pits the Chicago Bears (8-6), who have the worst rush defense in the NFL, against the Philadelphia Eagles (8-6) who have the best rushing team overall in the league. However, the Bears are one of the top scoring offenses in the NFL and among the top five in passing, while Philly has one of the worst-ranked pass defenses overall. The return of Jay Cutler is huge for Chicago, as is the return of defensive star Lance Briggs, which was just recently announced.

Last week’s results saw Philadelphia lose 48-30 to Minnesota, so they’ll be looking forward to a home game, although the Bears are surging as of late. Chicago enters the game after defeating the Cleveland Browns 38-31 on the road last weekend, thanks to 127 rushing yards from Matt Forte and 95 receiving yards from Brandon Marshall. Ironically, the Bears have a 3-4 road record, while Philadelphia has a 3-4 home record.

Today’s game has important playoff implications for both teams, so getting that "W" is extra important. For the Eagles, they really only need Dallas to lose to the Redskins during their 1 p.m. EST game to clinch their division. Should the Cowboys win that game, Philadelphia needs to defeat Chicago in Sunday Night Football and then defeat Dallas next week, making that pivotal game.

For the Chicago Bears, they’ve been surging lately, so another win will help immensely. Of course if they win, they also need Green Bay to lose and Detroit to lose or tie. If that happens, the Bears have clinched the NFC North division. However, if both the Bears and Packers win, it sets up a huge showdown to end the season in week 17, with Chicago vs. Green Bay for the division.

The Vegas Insider reported an opening line of 4 points in favor of the home team Eagles tonight, but the line has since dropped to just 3 points at various books. The over/under opened at 54 1/2 total points for the game but has since risen to 56 points at different books. Weather is expected to be cloudy with a 60% chance of showers and a kickoff temperature of about 60.

Sunday Night Football featuring the Bears vs. Eagles has a scheduled start time of 8:30 p.m. EST. The game will be televised nationally on NBC for cable and satellite viewers in standard and hi-definition. NFL RedZone will also have televised coverage. Additionally, this game will be featured live streaming online through the NBC Sports Live Extra site. Audio coverage can be heard through Sirius XM Radio or Audio Pass, while there will also be on-demand replay available of the game for NFL Game Rewind subscribers.
