Music fest season is upon us! As a Nashvillian, Bonnaroo always gets the first look, but as an OG, loyal Clevelander, you must always look for Bone, Thugs & Harmony. Beale Street Music fest won't have them on the first of the month, but the third- although, not as catchy. There's also Mark Foster (Foster the People) representing at the fest, so Cleveland is definitely in the house.
There's a slew of other acts worth seeing, so it's a pretty solid line up for 2014. Check out the full lineup, here: http://www.memphisinmay.org/bsmflineup
If Krayzie Bone isn't enough to get you to Memphis, maybe the hog is. Apologies to the non-carnivorous, but all the hype is earned. Good, sloppy food while catching some good, sloppy music in the place that started it all? Sounds right. Coachella, SXSW and some of the more popular fests are definitely not the only ones to bring the entertainment worth paying hundreds.
