According to Tuesday's TMJ 4 News, a 39-year-old woman from Sheboygan County, Wis., is facing animal cruelty charges after her beagle was found frozen to death inside of an abandoned house.

Kimberly Fidlin is facing multiple charges after her beagle, "Lucky," was found dead inside of a house in the Village of Cascade.

According to Fox 6 Now, a maintenance worker, checking on a ruptured water pipe, discovered the frozen dog curled up in a bed in a corner of the living room; the house had not had heat turned on for weeks.

Investigators determined that Fidlin walked away from the foreclosed home, leaving her belongings, and the dog, behind.

All of the toilet seat lids had been put down, leaving the dog without access to water, and the bags of food left behind were locked behind closed doors, leaving the dog to starve.

A necropsy performed on the dog's body confirmed that he had died from starvation.

Fidlin is facing one felony count and five misdemeanors following the abandonment of the dog - she is scheduled to appear in court on March 11.
