Beading Divas needs bead donations to continue their work

It is rare when I get a chance to combine two of my passions into a single article. Beading Divas is an organization that sells bracelets to raise money for animal rescue organizations. The operation works completely on donated materials and all of the sales proceeds, less selling fees, go straight to animal rescue organizations. The Beading Divas are in a situation where they need bead donations to continue their work.

Who do they help?

Operation Greyhound is the rescue organization Beading Divas will donate to for the month of February 2013. They have a special bracelet named Magda that is colorful and dressy. The interesting thing about the name Magda is that it is the name of a Greyhound that was recently rescued from Operation Greyhound.

You can read about Magda’s story on the Greyhound Injury Fund blog. Operation rescue saves Greyhounds from abusive racing situations.

How to help

You can help the Beading Divas work by donating beads, or by purchasing a bracelet on Esty. They do not purchase supplies; everything they create is with donated beads and beading supplies. If you are in the Tuscon, Ariz. Area and would like to drop off a bead donation, check out the list of donation locations to find one near you.

Beading Divas has it right. Why not craft for a cause. It was through my interest in beading that I came across them. They are a 501 c(3) charity. Why not take a look at their Etsy page or drop off some beading supplies to them.
