Dream pop duo Beach House released a music video for their song, “Wishes,” on Thursday. The freaky clip was made sans the musical act, but instead features a school pep rally gone wild.
The “Wishes” music video was directed by comedian Eric Wareheim from Adult Swim's “Tim and Eric Awesome Show.” It opens in a crowded football stadium where “Twin Peaks” actor Ray Wise emerges to lead a crazy pep rally. Randomness ensues as Wise lip syncs Beach House's shimmering synth track. The cheerleaders twerk for the audience while the guys bust out acrobatic moves. All the insane antics and spirit fingers culminate to Wise riding a horse in front of a specular fireworks show.
“Wishes” is a song lifted from Beach House's latest album, “Bloom.” The record was put out last year and peaked at no. 7 on Billboard's albums chart upon release.
